Mrs. Freeburg practices with the individual clients group concentrating in estate planning, estate
administration and tax planning.
She advises individuals and families on the techniques available to preserve wealth and achieve
testamentary goals in the most tax efficient manner and prepares customized documents to accomplish
these goals. She counsels families through the probate, tax and transfer requirements resulting from
the death of a family member. She regularly appears in the Connecticut Probate Courts and the New
York Surrogate's Courts.
Mrs. Freeburg has served as an associate editor of the Fordham Urban Law Journal, assistant editor
of Insights and Strategies, a monthly estate planning newsletter and as a contributing author to
"Handling Federal Estate and Gift Taxes", 6th edition. She is admitted to practice in New York,
Connecticut and the U.S. Tax Court. She is a member of the Greenwich, Fairfield County and
Connecticut Bar Associations and has volunteered her services to the Greenwich Probate Court.
She has served on the Board of the Putnam Indian Field School and volunteered in numerous capacities
at the Brunswick School.
After graduating summa cum laude from New York Institute of Technology she obtained her law degree from Fordham University School of Law.
