Mr. Gilbride is the head of the Private Clients Group. He concentrates on wealth preservation, estate and trust, real estate, personal service and maritime matters.
Mr. Gilbride graduated from Villanova University with a B.S. in Economics and
from Fordham University School of Law in 1967 with a J.D. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut and New York and before the United States Supreme Court, the Federal District Courts
for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and the District of Connecticut. He is a life member of the Maritime Law Association of the United States and has served on the Maritime Law Association's Shipbuilding Contracts Committee. He has maintained an "av" peer review rating by Martindale-Hubbell for over 25 years. He belongs to the American, Connecticut, Stamford/Norwalk Regional and Greenwich Bar Associations.
He received the 2011 Honorable Robert J. Callahan distinguished Alumnus of the
Year Award from the Connecticut Chapter of the Fordham Law School Alumni
Association.
Mr. Gilbride served six years in the Connecticut Army National Guard. He is a former Director of and served on the Loan Committee of Connecticut Community Bank. He has served on the Advisory Board of Gateway Bank, the Connecticut Advisory Board of First American Title Insurance Company, the Advisory Counsel of the YMCA of Greenwich, as Chairman of the Nurses' Registry of Greenwich Hospital Alumnae and as Chairman of the Leadership and Professional Divisions of the Greenwich United Way.
He currently serves on the Planned Giving Professional Advisory Committee of AmeriCares Foundation, Inc. of Stamford and is a Director and Officer of several
private family foundations. He has served on the Parish Council of Saint Michael The Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Greenwich and on the Board of Governors, Executive Committee, Legal Committee
and Admissions Committee of the Greenwich Country Club. Mr. Gilbride is also an affiliate member of the Greenwich Board of Realtors.
