Experience
Sheila is a corporate litigator, with more
than 25 years of trial and appellate experience. She primarily represents
pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic companies in federal trial courts, federal
appellate courts, and state appellate and high courts across the United States.
Over the last 15 years, she has acted as national overseeing and coordinating
counsel in a number of pharmaceutical and mass tort litigations. Sheila is also
experienced in commercial, coverage and class action litigation. Sheila was an
active member of the Product Liability Advisory Council for 11 years having been
elected to it in 1995.
Prior to joining GTLS in December 2001 as
Counsel, Sheila practiced in New York at Pillsbury, Winthrop, Shaw & Putnam
(then known as Winthrop, Stimson, Putnam & Roberts) for over 15 years. Before
practicing in New York, she interned for the Wisconsin Supreme Court under
Justice William G. Callow.
