November 2010 - NEW OFFICE OPENING IN NEW CANAAN, CONNECTICUT

We have expanded our practice by opening an office in New Canaan at 175 Elm Street.  Attorney Kenneth M. Gammill, Jr, a member of the firm, will head the new office. Mr. Gammill is a life-long New Canaan resident. "I am excited to have the opportunity to continue to serve the firm's New Canaan based clients and grow its practice while serving the community's legal needs," said Mr. Gammill.

This is the firm's second office in Fairfield County, complementing its main office in Greenwich.  The firm also has offices in New York City as well as in Naples and West Palm Beach, Florida. Gilbride Tusa specializes in the areas of residential and commercial real estate, land use, estate and tax planning, business/commercial law and not-for-profit entities.  The firm is dedicated to providing its clients with the depth of knowledge and expertise typically available only at large law firms but with the prompt, attentive service and competitive fees for which smaller firms are known. 

Attorney Gammill practices in all areas of real estate and financing, land use, and estate planning.

He was educated in the New Canaan public school system until attending the Taft School.  He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Hamilton College and his Juris Doctorate from Vermont Law School.  He is a member of the American, Connecticut, and Greenwich Bar Associations.  An active member of the community, Mr. Gammill is President of the New Canaan Winter Club, on the Board of Directors of the First Presbyterian Nursery School, an active member at the Country Club of New Canaan, and is involved in and coaches athletics in the various Town programs. He lives in Town with his wife Pam and five boys.

ATTORNEY WELLS SELECTED TO 2010 RISING STARS BY SUPER LAWYERS

Jonathan M. Wells has been selected for inclusion in the 2010 New England Super Lawyers magazine as a "Rising Star" in the State of Connecticut.   The selections for this list are made by the research team at Super Lawyers, which undertakes a rigorous multi-phase selection process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent evaluation of candidates by the attorney-led research staff and a good-standing and disciplinary check.  Only 2.5% percent of the lawyers in each state are named as a Super Lawyers Rising Star.

June 2010 - Ashley Van Valkenburgh has been selected for the 2009 Pro Bono Honor Roll by the Connecticut Bar Association.
